Enrolments - general Claremont College takes enrolments throughout the year. Everyone is entitled to 12 years of schooling, so mature-age students are warmly welcomed. We offer over 100 subjects. College counsellors can advise you on the best courses for university, TAFE, a traineeship or a job. They are available at the College from Monday to Friday, 8.45am—2.00pm. VET Links Apprenticeships & Traineeships Anti Discrimination Act Australian National Training Authority Commonwealth Dept. of Education Science & Training New Apprenticeship Centre Information Service School Based Traineeships VET Act 1994 Workplace Health & Safety Workplace Learning Support Unit (WLSU)		Enrolments for 2009 College policy for 2009 is that all Year 12s must choose a VET subject or at least 2 pre-tertiary subjects.This is because we want all Year 12s to be on a pathway to university or to technical training or to employment.All Year 11 students are currently being given help with pathway planning by Claremont College staff. Please ring the college on 6249 6868 if you wish to speak to a careers counsellor or a course counsellor about your son or daughter’s choice of subjects. Year 12 students wishing to enrol for Year 13 require an interview with the Principal or an Assistant Principal. It is important to see a college counsellor about your enrolment.
